Elsie and Lee Babler are keeping Elsie's Bar and Grill in Caledonia open after all.

The business will be open for senior dining, Friday morning Rotary meetings and those morning construction regulars who like toast, eggs and coffee. In late February, the owners had decided to close the dine-in restaurant this June due to staff shortages and other issues, but they've come up with creative solutions.

Elsie and Lee Babler were all smiles talking about keeping Elsie's open and laughed about maybe being workaholics. They'll continue juggling Elsie's with the catering business, The Crooked Quarter and Lee's auction and real estate businesses.
